Great way to start the Morning!

Normally, the hubs has already been working for 40 minutes when I wake up. Today, he is working later hours. Instead of him to enjoy the benefits of sleeping in, he woke up 30 minutes earlier than I did. I didn't realize he was already downstairs when I woke up because when the alarm clock went off, I quickly shut it off and tiptoed out of our room in order to avoid waking him up.

Imagine my surprise, when I walk into the hallway and I smell food. Eggs, turkey sausage and bagels, to be exact. Hubby woke up earlier than he should have to surprise me with a delicious breakfast before work. Beats the Pop-Tart I was planning on eating this morning. Yes, I know ... bad. I craved it one day and purchased it and now I must finish it because I don't waste food or money.

So, even if work annoys me today, it won't get to me because I had a great breakfast this morning. Thanks hubby, love you much! :)

p.s. There are no dishes in the sink right now but not because of me.

Oh how the taste buds have changed....

I guess what they say is true. When you get older your taste for food changes. I learned that today.

When I was younger, I stayed away from Baby Ruth's and Mr. Goodbars. I found them to be rather nasty.

Today, one of our vendors brought in a bunch of bite size chocolate bars. They were all wrapped in Easter colors, which made me a bit surprised that Easter candy is already out on the shelves.

Moving on, my co-worker was munching on Baby Ruth's and Mr. Goodbars and mentioned how delicious they were.

I became curious, got up and picked up two. I unwrapped the Baby Ruth first and popped it in my mouth. I chewed slowly, just in case I needed to spit it out all of a sudden. To my surprise, I swallowed and enjoyed the nutty and caramel flavors. Yummy!

I then unwrapped the Mr. Goodbar and popped it in my mouth. Again, I chewed slowly, just in case, and to my surprise I swallowed and enjoyed the crunchy nutty and chocolately flavor. Yummy!

I wonder what else I am missing out on.

Maybe I should try brussel sprouts again.

Busy as a Bee

I've never really understood the expression "busy as a bee". How busy could a bee possibly be? But since that expression exists that is what I am. Busy as a bee.

Life has been quite hectic busy so my poor ole blog has taken the hit. Gone are the days when I would spend hours upon hours reading blogs and updating mine. I have tons to share but no time to sit down, write and upload pictures. I hope that things will be brought down a notch soon, that way I can get back into the swing of blogging.

I miss it all. Honestly, it is the blogs and friends I've made that I truly miss.

Hope you all have fabulous weekends! In my case, I get a 3 day weekend that I really deserve.

It's A Special Day!

It's hubby's birthday AND it's our 4 year dating anniversary.

I remember it like it was yesterday. The hubs told me that he was born at 1:43 am so I stayed up to be sure that I called him at that exact time to wish him a Happy Birthday.

I remember being all giddy. We talked for an hour and when I hung up the phone we were exclusive. To this day, the hubs says that I asked him out. I don't remember it at all like that but if he wants to be the guy who didn't have the guts to ask me out then so be it, ha!

It is so strange to me to realize that I have been with Sean for 4 years. Not because it seems like a long time but because I don't feel like we have been together for 4 years.

I still get butterflies, I still want to impress him, I still really like him. I am thrilled that 4 years later, I love him even more.

Happy Birthday to the love of my life, my valentine.

Oh Google How I Love Thee

I am the google queen.

If something can't be figured out, I say, "Google It".

It is normal for me to say this about ten times per day.

Each time I say, "Google It". My co-worker, like clock work, will say:

"Do you know that 15 years ago Google did not even exist?"

And each time I shake my head and say, "I don't believe that".

The first time she told me that, I truly didn't believe her so I googled, "When was Google created?" Yup, I did.

Google has become a part of me. If I want to know something, I google. I can't imagine not being able to google.

Has Google changed your life too? It might not be for the better, but it definitely has changed mine.

Working On My Fitness, He's My Witness

The hubs bought me those sneakers. You know, the sneakers that work your legs and butt when you walk. I needed motivation and I think he knew that new sneakers would do the trick.

He was right! I was way too excited to try them out at the gym. I felt taller and leaner. It's a mind thing, I am aware of that.

I worked my behind off today because the sneakers made me. It had nothing to do with the fact that tomorrow I will be stuffing my face with a lot of horrible food.

Right now, my legs are sore. Like I walked a million miles today. I think that's a good sign.

Thanks babe ... although you buying me the sneakers might mean that you think implants have been placed inside my butt, I am going to take it that you wanted to help get my mojo back.

{The Tourist Review}

I took the hubs out to a movie a few weekends ago. Surprisingly, he chose to watch "The Tourist".

I really liked it.

A lot, a lot.

I will own it. I might even spend more than $5 on it. That's huge.

You can say whatever you want about Angelina Jolie but she was smoking in this movie.

In a classy, regal sort of way.

And of course Johnny Depp was Johnny Depp. After 21 Jump Street, I am a faithful fanatic.

The critics weren't kind. They aren't kind to many movies I like so I say screw 'em! It was good {to me}!
